20th Annual European Festival this Saturday

What is the European Festival?

Date:  Saturday and Sunday May 27th and 28th, 2017
Time:  11 am Saturday to Midnight
Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm
Cost:  $8.00* Early Ticket for the entire weeken!; Children under the age of 12 are free.
$10 at the Gate
Location:  Swangard Stadium in Burnaby

Volunteers for “Team Germany” needed!

We need people to do a 3-hour volunteer shift, to cheer for Germany in the flag parade at 2 pm, to be there at 6:30 pm on Saturday, when the Alpenplattler perform on behalf of Germany and of course, to enjoy typisch Bratwurst and Beer.

Representatives from the German Canadian Business Association will be there.

If you have any last-minute German items you would like to see on the table, please let us know – maps, books, costumes, Christmas decorations and other typical German products

Admire authentic ethnic dress and get swept away by traditional dancing like the Portuguese Vira, the Spanish Flamenco and the Serbian Kolo.

Come and experience Europe, from east to west, as seen through the eyes of Europeans. On May 27th and 28th, EuroFest BC Society brings unity through diversity to the Lower Mainland with the colours, music and food of Europe!
