Why Envato & Themeforest is worth a visit!
I love Themeforest so much that I decided to become an Affiliate sales agent for their parent company, Envato. This means that if you order a WordPress theme from Themeforest or a graphic from GraphicRiver or royalty-free music from AudioJungle I will benefit, but this is not necessarily about the money, but it is definitely about the quality and quantity of the graphics, the websites, the apps and more. Envato calls themselves the “leading marketplace for the creative assets and creative people.”
This means you can create digital assets and sell them, or purchase them all in one spot. They are based in Melbourne, Australia, but they have buyers and sellers all over the world.
Before you buy a Themeforest theme (and I have bought at least 10 over the last 5 years) you can find out how many people have ordered the site, what kind of support they offer and comments from users that allow you to see whether or not you may run into trouble or you will be happy after purchase.
When you click on the theme, you will see a lengthy detailed visual description, or you can choose to see a “live” demo. Lately, a lot of themes include placeholder images, that you can then simply replace these with your own images. The Envato website is also chock full of tips, and tricks and advice, especially in their forum.
