Westcoast German News Began when Elke realized there were no more German newspapers left in Vancouver. The Kanada Kourier closed down, the Pazifische Rundschau was sold and the Deutsche Presse stopped printing.

In 2007, Elke started the “German Voices Vancouver” Newsletter and the rest is history. After a year, the name was changed to “Westcoast German News” and it was transformed from a newsletter to a magazine to a blog and now it is an e-commerce website.

If there are any projects I can help you with, my goal is to support the German Community locally and Internationally. I do this from my home office and because of COVID19, I hold most of my meetings on Zoom. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you!  My services can be found on the “Shop” page of this website.
