Scary Ghost Stories – A Victorian Christmas Tradition

December 7 @ 8:00 am December 9 @ 5:00 pm

Join us in the Roedde House parlour December 7-9th & 14-16th from 7-9 pm for the once-popular Victorian tradition of telling ghost stories at Christmas! This is our third year hosting these events presented by Famous Artists Limited – all new stories this year, so don’t miss out!

Step back into time for an evening that will take you to the 1800s as you enter Roedde House and are greeted by your hosts for the evening, Mr. and Mrs. Winchester and their butler (three theatre actors with Famous Artists Limited). The charming Winchesters will whisk you into the parlour and entertain you for the evening with chilling tales told by the soft glow of our historical Victorian parlour’s lights. They will read aloud from ghost stories of the period, which were meant to be shared in a cozy room on a cold winter’s night.

Tea and sweets will be then be served during a short intermission before audience members are invited back into the parlour for one last tale before the Winchesters send everyone off into the shadow-filled night.
