I am a mother of a 3-year-old girl who is half Korean and half German (she’s speaking both languages but not so much English yet). We recently moved to Vancouver from Germany. We’re looking for a babysitter who could help us transition smoothly. I would need help for half a day (times are flexible from my end) during the weekdays. We live near UBC.
An ideal sitter will be someone who speaks German (to communicate with my daughter) and English (to communicate with me), is reliable, caring, and active (my daughter likes playing football outside), and has experience with kids around 3-5 years old. I don’t look for any particular qualification, but someone who genuinely loves spending time/playing with kids would be great. I am thinking of paying an hourly rate of 20 dollars.
I look forward to chatting with you soon. Thank you for reading Best wishes, Mijung Park
