In spite of uncertainty, Covid19 and wildfires, I hope you are all having a wonderful summer in western Canada. Westcoast German News, one of the only German media platforms in this side of the country, has not had that much to report on, due to lockdowns, shutdowns, social isolation and other safety measures. So hardly any events, and this has led me to offer different services right here on this blog.
1. New Westcoast German News Directory
If you would like your business, services, or product listed on my website, just follow these 3 simple steps:
a. Send me the information you would like listed: Title, description, logo, photo (only one) and links to social media
b. Approve the listing on the Westcoast German News Directory
c. Send me the $50 for a regular listing or $99 for a featured listing (always on top)
2. Regular blogging updates, reporting on local and international issues
Until now, my focus has been mainly on providing German, Swiss and Austrian news in Western Canada and even the US, but from now on, I will also try to mention the main news from Europe, such as elections, emergencies, COVID19 responses and connections, such as with Saarland. I am also happy to connect with people from Germany, Austria or Switzerland who would like to get some local knowledge of Vancouver or BC.
3. A new shop selling products and services
Since there aren’t that many events to promote, I have decided to start selling my products and services, starting with T-Shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies with German sayings, logos or pictures on them. I have just ordered my first long-sleeved shirt and am waiting to receive it. If you have a German saying you would like to see in my store on a shirt, please let me know! Also, if you are a photographer with high resolution pictures (5000 pixels etc.) and you would like to sell your pictures on a shirt, please let me know!
